Phase 2 Archaeological Investigation.
Bisben Mine Site, Greene, Chenango County, New York

Hudson Valley Cultural Resource Consultants completed a Phase 2 investigation of the Brisben Precontact site, located on a knoll near the Chenango River. The Investigations refined the period of site utilization to the Owasco and Iroquoian phases of the Late Woodland Period. The excavations identified a pattern of site utilization that is indicative of satellite of a larger settlement. This site is eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
Phase 2 Archaeological Investigation.
East Fishkill Yard Site, Dutchess County, New York

Hudson Valley Cultural Resource Consultants completed a Phase 2 investigation of the East Fishkill Yard site, located on a knoll near Fishkill Creek. Due to the potential for deeply buried cultural deposits, a geomorphological survey completed by Quemahining LLC preceded the investigations. The Investigations determined that the research potential of the East Fishkill Yard site was exhausted and additional investigations would not yield information important to understanding the region’s history. The site did not meet the criteria for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
Phase 3 Data Recovery.
Fisher Site 6, Rensselaer County, New York

Hudson Valley Cultural Resource Consultants completed a Phase 3 Archaeological Data Recovery of the Fisher Site 6, located on a knoll on the Hudson River. The investigations refined the period of site utilization to the Middle Archaic (6000 BP) through the Late Woodland (1300 BP). The National Register Eligible site was excavated in advance of development.
