Hudson Valley Cultural Resource Consultants completed a Phase 1 Archaeological Survey for the proposed Wireless Communications Tower on the Ulster Buildings and Highway department property. The project examined the proposed location of the tower compound and the proposed utility routes. The survey confirmed a profound level of prior disturbance within this location. No further archaeological work was recommended.

Cultural Resource Survey of the proposed Telecommunications Facility

Hudson Valley Cultural Resource Consultants completed a Phase 1 Cultural Resource Survey of twelve locations within Jefferson County, for the proposed Public Safety Communications System upgrade. The study involved the evaluation and assessment of the proposed location of a telecommunications facility as well an evaluation of the impacts to an adjacent National Register Property.

In addition, the project included the filing of FCC Form 620 and E-106 Attachments and consultation with the local and state reviewing agencies. All submissions conform to the Nationwide Programmatic Agreement for Review of Effects on Historic Properties for Certain Undertaking, which includes Tribal Review. A review of the historic properties located on or in the vicinity of the project area was completed.

Phase 1 Cultural Resource Survey Jefferson County

Hudson Valley Cultural Resource Consultants completed a Phase Archaeological Survey for the proposed Devlin Windham Telecommunications Project, in the Town of Windham, NH. The project examined the proposed tower compound and access road. The project included the documentation of the existing conditions within the property boundaries and documentation of significant changes to the landscape from the early 19th century to the present day. The project included archaeological field investigations, which did not identify buried cultural resources and which documented a lack of archaeological integrity within the project area.

In addition, the project included the filing of FCC Form 620 and E-106 Attachments, the completion of TCNS, and Tribal Nation Review, as well as consultation with the local and state reviewing agencies. All submissions conformed to the Nationwide Programmatic Agreement for Review of Effects on Historic Properties for Certain Undertaking. A review of the historic properties located on or in the vicinity of the project area was completed.
